Josh Yates Joins Sonlife Classic!
Sonlife is pleased to announce the appointment of Josh Yates as the Regional Coordinator for the Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Northern California, Idaho and Lower British Columbia). Josh has a passion for networking with youth workers for gospel centered movements that will make disciples who can make disciples. He has led and been part of youth ministry networks for the past 10 years and enjoys encouraging and equipping other leaders.
Growing up in the Seattle area, Josh sensed the call to ministry when he was twelve. Through the investment of his youth pastor and other godly men, Josh refined his calling into youth ministry. His first Sonlife training was in 1994 and played a significant role in his foundation for disciple making. In 1996 he attended Moody Bible Institute and later served with Mark Edwards (Sonlife Latinoamerica) as an intern. While at Moody, Josh met Katie and they were married in the summer of 2001. Josh has served as youth pastor in two churches over the past 10 years. He brings a passion and zeal for disciple making to the Pacific Northwest. Josh and Katie have two children ages 3 and 4 months.
Josh and Katie Yates are the first full-time employees to join the relaunched Sonlife. We pray for other Regional Coordinators to emerge in the months ahead. Josh joins Dann Spader, Don Roscoe, and Steve Hudson in leading the Sonlife Ministries and theLive 2:6 initiative of walking as Jesus walked.
